Life Back on Track

I feel like we've been in limbo forever! Everyday, someone asks me when we are moving, and I never have a definate answer. Last weekend, Clinton and I went over to Richland so he could take his final polygraph test and stress test. He was a little nervous, because it's stressful having probes all over your body and getting asked a list of questions 3 times through. He was in there for 2 hours! But he passed fine. While we were there, we also got to go see our house and walk through again. All the sheetrock was up and it was getting ready to be textured. We got to see the cabinets that were all in the garage, and it looked much more like a home. We also got to go pick out our carpet, tile, and countertops. Here's the picture...

The big tile is going on the backsplash in the kitchen and around the master tub in the bathroom. The paint color is hard to see, but it's a goldish yellow color. The laminate on the right is going in the kids bathroom and the guest powder room. The one in the middle is the master bath and the one on the left is the kitchen countertop. It's a medium brown, although it looks more yellow in the picture.

And then yesterday, we heard from Richland that Clint will start on Jan 14th. He will have to go over a couple weeks before us, because the house is suppose to be done on the 31st. At least we have a timetable now. When people ask when we are moving, we can tell them!
